Each year SYO awards College Scholarships to 1 or 2 select Graduated Seniors. Recent recipients of these awards have included:

2008 Season

The Symphonic Youth Orchestra of Greater Indianapolis (SYOGI) made their first public appearance as a group at the Indianapolis Artsgarden on Saturday, August 9, 2008, presenting a 20-minute program featuring selected works of Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Steven Edward Goodman, and Georges Bizet.

The entire performance was recorded with an M-Audio MicroTrack II mobile digital recorder. It is a 22.49MB MP3 file, which may take a LONG time to open on your computer, depending on what type of Internet connection you have (takes about 3 minutes to open on our Comcast high-speed cable connection, for example).
